- Mego released one series of 9 Buck Rogers in the 25th Century figures, based on the movie and TV show, in 1979
- All figures feature rubber-band construction
- All figures exhibit 10 points of articulation: neck, shoulders, elbows, waist, hips, and knees
- The Mego Buck Rogers were distributed in Brazil by Glasslite; unlike later Glasslite lines, there does not seem to be any difference between the US and Brazilian figures
Related toys:
- Mego also released a 12-inch scale Buck Rogers line that included Buck, Twiki, Huer, Killer Kane, Draco, Tiger Man and Draconian Guard
- The first Buck Rogers figure released was a costume for the 12-inch Captain Action series. Captain Action's different costumes (including Lone Ranger, Flash Gordon, Superman, Spider-Man and Phantom) were sold with a head that could be attached to Captain Action. Buck Rogers was released in 1967 with a flasher ring
