Barrow Wight
The Barrow Wights were evil spirits that inhabited the Barrow Downs (these were east of the Old Forest near Buckland). These spirits were from Angmar, where the Witch King (Lord of the Nazgul) had once ruled. They would try to trap their prey and then sacrifice them, and Frodo and his company ran afoul of them on their journey from the Shire to Rivendell.
The figures for the Barrow Wight were very detailed and used rooted hair. There were originally three versions of this figure, but a fourth, mass-market version was created. The Wight has 11 points of articulation - bending knees and elbows, twisting wrists, thighs, shoulders and neck. The Barrow-Wight was designed by Todd Lockwood and sculpted by S. Sugita.
The Barrow Wight - This figure was an exclusive of the Toy Vault Toy Club, and was limited to 1000 pieces. It was packaged with a sword and shield.
Evil Spirit Of Angmar - This was the 'standard issue' Barrow Wight and included a sword, goblet and chest.
The Nocturnal Barrow Wight - This figure was sold exclusively through Diamond Comics. Originally it was to have red eyes, but this was changed to the green used for the other Wight figures. He included a shield, dagger and goblet.
The Wight - This was a planned mass-market version of the Barrow Wight. He included a sword, dagger and goblet.
