" Wave 18 was released in September 1998 Another fantastic wave mixing playability with collectors appeal. Major Spidey villain, the Sandman, finally sees the light of day in his own sculpt through the expert craftsmanship of Phil Ramirez. A rather spooky Red Skull and 2nd tier supporting cast member Madam Web enrich this quintet. As for the gadgetry, suction cups provide the means to propell various plastic bugs into webs and nets and catchers. Two handsome Spidey variations add to the set - one, a costume Spidey wore in the comics when battling a super-charged Electro. Had the comic come out earlier, this suit probably would have shown up in Wave 11's Electro-themed line.
