WAVE 5: The Animated Series Wave Five was released just in time for Christmas 1995 in most parts of the country. Along with the trendy "Battle Ravaged" Spider-Man, it included characters from Spidey's 70's run; The Punisher, Morbius, and Six-Armed Spidey. Nick Fury was also in the lineup, even though he was rarely a supporting character to Spider-Man (although he did appear in the animated series). Carnage II was dropped from Wave Five and pushed back to the next assortment due to Toy Biz's experimenting with case packing. Battle Ravaged Spider-Man Nick Fury, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D.
