WAVE 6: The Animated Series Wave Six hit the shelves in spring 1996 with little fan-fare. Drawing mainly on new characters or ones strictly from the animated series, this assortment was bogged down with two Spider-Man variations and only three "new" figures, one of which had been carried over from the last wave.
