You all saw the film, perhaps you bought some of the action figures,
read the comics, bought the DVD. But now, here's The Incredibles as
you've never seen them before, living in the DCU! Just imagine, Mr
Incredible leading the JSA, Frozone fighting side by side with the JLA,
Violet and Dash hanging with the Teen Titans, Elastigirl joining the
Doom Patrol... (um, maybe not.) Imagine no more, as StrangeMark Studios
bring you these all new redesigned Incredibles action figures!
Kicking off with Mr Incredible, we at SMS decided to stick to the
instantly recognisable classic costume. Especially when we move onto the
kids, who are looking pretty different, we felt it was important to keep
the immediate recognition factor. Any Incredibles fan is going to see
this and know its Bob Parr. Also available is Elastigirl, in a sexy
revamp of her classic look. Unfortunately prototype shots are not
available at this time, but stay tuned!
Always there to help out the family is Frozone, who like Mr Incredible,
appears here in a slight variation of his movie costume. We decided to
bulk him up a bit, give him a more heroic appearance, and as with all
these figures, we're thinking "real-world" as opposed to the animated
look of the movie. This is how Frozone would look if he really was
appearing monthly in your JLA comics!
Bob and Helen Parr's eldest daughter Violet has the ability to turn
invisible. This makes her the perfect covert operative within the DCU,
hanging out and having fun with her brother and the Teen Titans, while
also acting as an agent of Oracle and the Birds of Prey, while trying to
hold down a normal life at High School is Gotham City! In the interests
of bringing these characters into the mainstream DCU, we've taken the
kids and aged them to a more conceivable heroing age! Violet's costume
is her own unique take on her Dad's classic look, and while she enjoys
the approval of her parents, younger child Dash is not so lucky.
Being only in his early teens, his responsible heroing parents make every effort to keep him out of their dangerous lifestyle, but that's not
stopping one of the fastest kids around. Taking our inspiration both
from Smallville's interpretation of Bart Allen, with a hint of
Superboy's current look in there, Dash's make-shift costume consists of
some nice "Mr Incredible" merchandise, so there's no mistaking his
parentage!
As you will remember, as vast array of "supers" got their own little
cameos in The Incredibles movie. If this line is a success, who knows
where it will lead?!
