VM Customs' "GI Joe Universe" line made a positive showing at this season's convention, showcasing no less than 15 new figures! Some are envisioned remakes of old favorites like Firefly and Flint, while others, like the impressive Sigma-Six Cobra Commander, required totally new sculpts! These prototypes are a bit rough, but we are excited by this showing and can't wait to see more from them!

To help celebrate the twenty SIXTH anniversary of GI Joe, VM Customs has released the "GI Joe Universe". Their backstory is similar to Transformers Universe in that a mysterious Cobra threat has pulled enemies from all time periods of GI Joe. To respond to this threat, the Joes have been reinstated, pulling Joes from different eras. Represented: A Real American Hero-era: General Hawk (comic-book not Sunbow version), Flint, Alpine, Shipwreck, Cutter, Ripcord, Beachhead; amalgamated from Sigma Six and GI Joe Extreme: Lt Stone; amalgamated GI Joe the Movie and Sigma Six Jinx; and Worlds-Without-End Torpedo, Low Light and Dial Tone!

Their enemies? Sigma-Six Cobra Commander (the only Cobra Commander to successfully put the Joes on the run!), a first-release in 3 3/4" scale for this figure! Image Comics Destro, and ARAH-era Firefly.
