"What was once a happy, peaceful, productive city, full of life and activity, has fallen into the hands of a secret criminal syndicate. The leader of the syndicate has somehow managed to keep his identity a secret. The organization soon absorbed the city government (anyone can be had if the price is right). They even had the metropolitan police force in their back pocket. Looting, random violence and destruction are rampant. No one is safe walking the streets, day or night..."

"Adam Hunter, Axel Stone and Blaze Fielding decided to forgo their careers in legal law enforcement and put their lives on the line. They are without weapons, but each possesses great hand-to-hand combat abilities. Take them into the heart of the city and battle the most dangerous wave of bad dudes and chicks ever assembled. Make the city a place where people no longer have to walk the Streets of Rage!"

Axel Stone, an ex-cop with a focus in the martial arts has his traditional outfit which consists of a white shirt, blue jeans, arm bands and a blue headband, he also comes with his fire punch accessory to give the effect of a dragon punch.

What we wanted to do with this line was basically mimic what other toy companies had been doing with the video game characters and still keep a high level of playability, that is, the ability to be able to play with the figure rather then just taking it out of the package and place it somewhere. We also sought to correct some of the misconceptions about highly articulated toys which in some cases have broke right out of the package, not our toys we take pride in making our toys last.

We have rather big plans in the future to get the rest of these characters in 3D form but its a "murky" road we have to travel... hopefully with the sales on this first character it will show the owner of the license how much these characters were loved and the demand for them... who knows... they might give a "go ahead" but as for now... expect to see Axel in your favorite retail store in the fall.
