The base figure was a Star Wars, A New Hope, General Jan Dodonna.

The first step was to sculpt some hair over the figure's head using Apoxy Sculpt, shave off part of the beard, next I trimmed off some of the coat to create a jacket, added some buttons and shoulder emblems, also with Apoxy.

The chest badge was cut out of thin plastic, and the symbol painted with ultra fine red Sharpie.

Then I painted the details on his shoulders, buttons, jacket, and pants using several colors of Model masters acrylics, and finally, the hair, and beard were painted with a mix of colors to create a medium brown, and then I dry brush a light yellow over the brown. The figure was then top coated with Testors Dull cote.
