Unfortunately, these will not be compatible with the recently deceased line that ran from 1993-1996. While those were 5" in scale, these will be roughly 7"-8" in scale. But these are extremely detailed, especially the two humans, based upon the likenesses of Sigorney Weaver and Winona Ryder.
Unlike the old line, with it's many bizarre non-canon Alien variations, these three Aliens actually appear in the new film in at least close to these forms. The Aliens have underwater scenes, are scarred by their own acid blood, and there are two new versions of the Queen and a hybrid called the "Newborn". These last two are closely under wraps until the film debuts in November, due to the apparent surprise factor of their appearance.
It is hoped that the line will do well enough to include the other human characters of the film. This line is unusual in that the only human characters so far announced are female.
