Hasbro has said that fan reaction was a major factor in bringing back the classic 3 3/4" GI Joe. After the previous successful release, a follow-up assortment has been planned as a Toys R Us exclusive due in stores in the fourth quarter this year. You won't want to miss these multi-packs and vehicles.
These multi-packs will be split between Joe's forces and those of their arch-nemesis, Cobra. All the figure sets are shown below (and one of the vehicles). The Navy Assault Unit includes Torpedo, Shipwreck, and Wet Suit. The infamous Oktober Guard features Colonel Brekhov, Lieutenant Gorky, and a new figure named Volga. The Cobra Polar Force has Snow Serpent, Night Creeper, and Firefly. The Cobra Infantry Team includes two Cobra Troopers and a Cobra Officer (can you say cannon fodder?).
There are also three vehicles on the schedule each with special figures included. The Cobra Rattler vehicle will include a Vypra figure, the Conquest X-30 Jet will come with Ace and the Mobat Tank will feature Heavy Duty and Thunderwing figures.
