The Jabberwock
"Beware the Jabberwock, my son!
The jaws that bite, the claws that catch!
Beware the Jubjub bird, and shun
The frumious Bandersnatch!"
This ferocious beast was the subject of the poem Jabberwocky by Lewis Carroll in Through the Looking Glass, the sequel to Alice in Wonderland.
The figure below was inspired by this mythical beast. taking a cue from John Tenniel's artwork in the 1800's, Ron Peters worked up detailed control art for the creature. The figure was sculpted in China by Man Tat Leung (possibly the first time a Chinese sculptor has been publicly credited on an American action figure)
and painted by David Adkins.
So enjoy this sneak peek at the upcoming figure from Toy Vault. We're sure you'll want to shout "O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!"
