Wizard World Philadelphia's Toy Programming

WIZARD WORLD PHILADELPHIA CONVENTION WILL FEATURE THE ULTIMATE IN TOY PROGRAMMING!

Toy Superstars Clayburn Moore, the Four Horsemen and Randy Falk of NECA Will Be On-Hand With Exclusives and More!

Congers, NY (April 14, 2008) - The Wizard World comic convention is coming to Philadelphia from May 30th to June 1st, and they're bringing with them an array of events containing major reveals and exciting news for the toy industry! The convention will host the 1st Annual ToyFare Hall of Fame Awards, an awards ceremony created for the sole purpose of honoring and celebrating those entities that have had a significant and lasting impact on the toy industry. Along with the inaugural award ceremony, Wizard World Philadelphia will also showcase numerous How-To-Sculpt workshops with noted sculptors and company overviews and panels packed with exclusive information!

The Wizard World Philadelphia convention will include:

  • The 1st Annual ToyFare Hall of Fame Awards, where "ToyFare" Magazine will honor three entities for their significant contributions to and impact on the toy industry. This year's inaugural inductees are Randy Falk of NECA, Clayburn Moore and the Four Horsemen. The ceremony for the 1st Annual ToyFare Hall of Fame Awards will be held on Friday, May 30th at 5 PM in the ToyFare Theatre.

  • Panels with some of the leading toy companies, designers and sculptors, including Diamond Select, Sideshow Collectibles, C.S. Moore Studio, Shiflett Brothers Originals, Tonner, Inc., NECA, Four Horsemen Studios, Far East Monsters and Nightmare Armor Studios. These panels will feature world premieres, exclusive announcements and big prize giveaways.

  • Informative How-To-Sculpt workshops with some of the best action figure, statue and bust sculptors in the toy industry. Randy Falk of NECA, Robert Tonner of Tonner, Inc., the Four Horsemen of Four Horsemen Studios, Clayburn Moore of C. S. Moore Studio, and the Shiflett Brothers from Shiflett Brothers Originals will all give insight into how they've perfected their craft and how you can, too!
