250 Sessions and 300 Hours of Programming! All Sessions Now "Live" on Website!!
Norwalk, CT, April 14 2008: New York Comic Con has announced its full, official conference program which includes almost 250 sessions and 300 hours of programming. Convention officials note that the NYCC schedule of events, which includes appearances by major talent and celebrities from across the entertainment and pop culture spectrum including Stan Lee, Eva Mendes, Grant Morrison, Mike Mignola, T.M Revolution and Joe Simon, to name a few, is the largest single programming event that Reed Exhibitions will deliver in 2008. Literally hundreds of film and comics celebrities, artists and experts will participate in panels that will be on-going throughout the weekend. New York Comic Con will take place this week, April 18 - 20 at the Jacob K. Javits Center.
"I am blown away by the scope of our programming," notes Lance Fensterman, VP and Show Manager for NYCC. "I don't say this to boast, but simply to point out how incredibly popular and diverse the comic world is! There is so much to include, so much to feature, and so much to absorb. We are in the very enviable position of easily providing a ton of entertainment and education for our audience. From film, to books, to comics, to media, to music, I can think of few conventions that can offer as much! It's a great statement about the inclusiveness of our show and we owe this all to the nature of this particular venue and to the fans that make it possible."
