The actress best known for her role as Starbuck on "Battlestar Galactica" recently announced that she will be appearing on the hit series "Nip/Tuck" during its next season, thus adding another award-winning television program to her already impressive body of work.

The initially controversial reimagining of the 1970s cult series "Battlestar Galactica" has won critical acclaim and legions of fans with its unprecedented realism, complex plotlines, and top notch performances. Sackhoff portrays hotshot pilot Kara "Starbuck" Thrace, a role originally played by Dirk Benedict.
