Secret Invasion HeroClix 'Buy it by the Brick' Figure Sold Out

Secret Invasion "Buy it by the Brick" Figure Sold-Out; High Demand Makes Reprint Likely

August 20, 2008 (SEATTLE) - WizKids Inc. is pleased to announced that it has sold out of numbered Marvel HeroClix: Secret Invasion "Buy it by the Brick" Super Skrull: Illuminati figures and has begun taking orders towards a first-ever brick figure reprint. Secret Invasion is the second "Buy it by the Brick" program sell out following DC HeroClix: Crisis in February, which sold out of 5,000 numbered figures only weeks after the product release.

With all 5,000 numbered figures redeemed worldwide, WizKids is now collecting unfulfilled brick figure orders. Currently, approximately 200 orders are unfulfilled, but WizKids needs at least 500 unfulfilled orders to meet the minimum order quantity for the reprint. If WizKids receives at least 500 unfulfilled brick figure orders prior to October 24, WizKids will reprint an unnumbered version of the Super Skrull: Illuminati figure for each order.

"After the Crisis 'Buy it by the Brick' program, we did some serious evaluation of it in anticipation for Secret Invasion and built in the possibility of a reprint," said Justin Ziran, Managing Director of WizKids. "With this second sell out, we're glad to see that we succeeded in continuing to deliver a premium program benefiting brick and mortar retailers and pleasing HeroClix consumers alike."
