Chupacabra and Urban Legend Action Figures to Debut

This just in, reports of a new toy line focusing on urban legends and popular folklore. We have the scoop and some pre-production images. The new toy line is entiltled "Legendary Monsters", and it is based on monsters of urban legend, alien sightings and folklore. The line developed by Nevermore Creations is being released fall 2001. Each monster "action diorama" will be packaged with a victim figure, diorama base and appropriate bio explaining the victims experience with the creature. Each monster figure will have glowing eyes and both figures will features multiple points of articulation. Series I includes: - Chupacabra

The Mothman legend is as follows: November 15, 1966 Point Pleasant, WV 11:30 pm While driving through an abandoned munitions dump 'locally known as the tnt area' Linda Scarberry, her husband Roger and another couple spotted a pair of glowing red eyes two inches wide and six inches apart attached to something that was "shaped like a man, but bigger...maybe six or seven feet tall, and it had big wings folded against it's back." Roger accelerated their vehicle trying to escape from the creature. Much to the couples' horror Mothman gave chase, squeeking audibly as it reached speeds over 100mph. The flying monster ended pursuit only as the car neared town.
