The LEGO® Experience Tour Arrives in Philadelphia, October 1

PHILADELPHIA, September 29, 2009 -- LEGO Systems, Inc., the world's leading manufacturer of construction toys and experiences for families, brings The LEGO® Experience Tour to Philadelphia's Please Touch Museum on Thursday, October 1.

The LEGO Experience lets families immerse themselves in the best of the LEGO brand.

The tour features activity areas where families have a world of creativity at their fingertips:

  • Welcome: families receive an overview of the activities and a special LEGO passport to enjoy the fun.
  • Model Mash-Up: LEGO Master Builders drew inspiration from every LEGO theme available today to create a stunning LEGO CITY full of surprises and creative models.
  • Family Challenge Experience: get everyone in on the LEGO fun and go head-to-head with other families in fun challenges.
  • Construction Experience: families get hands-on, minds-on by exploring their imaginations to create custom LEGO models.

Please Touch Museum® at Memorial Hall, Fairmount Park is dedicated to enriching the lives of children by providing learning opportunities through play. Recognized locally and nationally as one of the best children's museums, Please Touch is open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. and Sundays 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. Admission is $15 for adults and children age one and over.
