The Toys Are Back With A Vengeance!

buzz_woody99.jpg - 11091 Bytesal_chicken.jpg - 7943 BytesCan anyone doubt the power of toys after the box office shattering opening weekend for Disney and Pixar's Toy Story 2? The sequel to the 1995 hit, Toy Story, raked in a staggering 81.1 million dollars over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.

Toy Story 2, which features Tom Hanks and Tim Allen reprising their Woody and Buzz Lightyear characters, tells the story of the toys struggle to rescue a kidnapped Woody from the clutches of an evil toy collector who is looking to make a small fortune by selling Woody to a Japanese toy museum.

Toy Story 2, directed by John Lassiter with music by Randy Newman, is in theaters now. Toy Story 2 toys, by a variety of companies including Mattel and Thinkway, are on store shelves now.
