'Clutch Powers 4D' Premiere Promises Action-Packed LEGO®-Brick Fun at LEGOLAND® Discovery Center
LEGO Bricks and Play Universes Come to Life This Weekend in Schaumburg
SCHAUMBURG, Ill., March 19, 2010 -- Clutch Powers, the best builder and explorer in the LEGO® Universe, will take on the evil rock monsters for the first time in a high-flying, brick-building, four-dimensional quest for glory this Saturday, March 20 at the LEGOLAND® Discovery Center in Schaumburg.
"A Clutch Powers 4D Adventure" follows Clutch and his team on a hilarious and fun-filled mission to obtain a special mystery box for Professor Brick-a-Brack. The team splits up and takes to land, air and sea to retrieve the box�but when evil rock monsters threaten to take the box and its contents, the LEGO characters must put their differences aside and work as a team to rescue the box.
What could be in the mysterious box? Will the team's brick-building skills stand up against the evil rock monsters? But most importantly, will Clutch and his team learn the importance of working together to save the mystery box's contents from falling into the wrong hands?
"A Clutch Powers 4D Adventure" teaches kids the importance of teamwork while taking them on a wild ride in LEGOLAND Discovery Center's unique 4D theater, where families will experience the wind, rain and other effects as if they were actually inside the movie.
A 10-minute 4D feature built on LEGO bricks, "A Clutch Powers 4D Adventure" features the voices of Ryan McPartlin (Clutch Powers) and Yvonne Strahovski (Peg) from the popular NBC series "Chuck." Families can follow Clutch and his team on their adventures in this kid-friendly animated action movie, where LEGO mini-figures come to life in a way children never before imagined.
Open 12 PM - 7 PM Monday through Friday and 10 AM - 7 PM Saturday and Sundays. During Spring Break, hours are from 10 AM - 8 PM (March 20 - April 12, 2010)., LEGOLAND Discovery Center Chicago in Schaumburg is located at 601 N. Martingale Rd. in the Streets of Woodfield, adjacent to Woodfield Shopping Center. It's designed for families with children aged 2 to 12. Last tickets are sold at 5 PM and 6 PM during Spring Break.
