July 2010 - Each month, Hasbro will answer two questions about their Transformers products. Here are the latest questions and answers:
1) Assuming the reason we never got a movie Dispensor figure was due to certain copyright issues with brand-name sodas, would Hasbro ever consider a version with a more generic soda logo? I know I'm not the only one who wants a killer soda machine!
Answer: Actually, the main reason why we never did a toy of Dispensor is due to the fact that he turns into a soda dispensing machine. We certainly loved his robot form and paid tribute to it in the Robot Heroes line because he was so cool looking. However, there are not many kids out there that want to play with a soda machine dispenser, thus no Deluxe version of him.
2) Seeing how quickly Animated Arcee sold vs. Animated Ratchet, are there any plans to insure a slightly larger run for Animated Rodimus over Animated Iron Hide?
Answer: Unfortunately, as a matter of Hasbro policy, we can not provide information about production quantities, character mixes, ratios or any other business related decisions.
