August 2010 - Introducing the 2.5" Junior Club Qee Bear designed by Mathilde Sijtsma.

The Groninger Museum Junior Club is a special organization for children ages 7-12 in the Netherlands. The club holds workshops for the children to create art meeting actual artists and holding special exhibits while discovering more about the Groninger Museum and the artwork collection.

A Qee DIY competition started in 2009 received nearly 100 submissions. The selection committee chose the winning design based on concept and presentation. The winner of this competition was Mathilde Sijtsma, a 12 year old club member. For winning the competition, Toy2R has created a limited run of the artists design as a production Qee and the original DIY Qee is on display in the museum.
