October 24, 2001 - Toronto, ON - Toy Awards season is in full swing and the Incredible Shrinky Dinks Maker by Spin Master Toys has been placed on many of the prestigious "Hot Toys" lists. Shrinky Dinks invented in 1973 has been revitalized since the launch of the Incredible Shrinky Dinks Maker in August.
The Incredible Shrinky Dinks Maker started receiving awards just after it was introduced at Toy Fair 2001 in New York. Dr. Toy was the first to recognize the Shrinky Dinks Maker when she acknowledged it as one of her Best Classic Products and Best Creative Products for 2001.
Recently Spin Master's latest 'hot toy' has been awarded such incredible accolades as the Duracell Toy Test's Top 25 Finalists, Parenting Magazine's Toys of the Year, Parents Magazine's Toys of the Year, and Family Fun Magazine's Top 10 Toys of the Year.
