May 2011 Hasbro GI Joe Q&A

May 2011 - Every other month, Hasbro will answer a few questions about their GI Joe products. Below are the questions and answers for this month.

1) With several retailers removing G.I. Joe from their current planograms, will the two "surprise waves" that were shown at Toy Fair see greater availability at HasbroToyShop.com?

Answer: There are actually two questions here. The first is about retailers. We have been working with our retail partners and are pleased to be able to say that Wal-Mart will be carrying G.I. Joe in many stores that stopped carrying them previously. Look in your market! The second question is about availability on HasbroToyShop.com. We are working with our HTS partners to see how we can ensure that the best selection of figures is available.

2) How will the classic styled Zarana figure shown at toyfair be released? Will it be a SDCC exclusive as rumored or will she see a release in the main line?

Answer: This will be an SDCC exclusive with a "Cold Slither" variant. For those people unable to get to Comic Con, she'll be available on HasbroToyShop.com the Monday after the show closes but act fast as supplies will be limited.

Be sure to check out the previous Q&As as well.
