Dollar General Offers 10 Percent Discount on Toy Purchases Over $100
GOODLETTSVILLE, Tenn., Oct. 20, 2011 -- Dollar General is offering a 10 percent discount on toy purchases of $100 or more during the holiday season. This discount is available through December 24, 2011, at all Dollar General stores.
As longtime supporters of local toy drives, Dollar General will also host in-store toy drives to benefit children in the communities the company serves.
"The bulk toy discount was created to assist nonprofit organizations with their holiday toy drives," said Todd Vasos, Dollar General's chief merchandising officer. "We are happy to offer this discount to help organizations stretch their dollars this holiday season and help more children have a happy holiday."
This season, Dollar General's toy department is overflowing with a variety of new toys at great prices for children of all ages. More than 300 toys are priced at $5 or less, including art, games, activity sets, plush animals, licensed toys and much more.
