Spetsnaz

The Russian Interior Ministry Spetsnaz was originally formed in 1991. Its role has changed over time and while stationed in Izhevsk it is responsible to the Moscow Federal Government. The unit recruits its members from the Airborne, Marines, Navy and other special units and is Russia's premier domestic counter terrorist task force.
