SAN FRANCISCO--Nov. 27, 2001--The Fairmont San Francisco, where Tony Bennett first sang "I Left My Heart in San Francisco," will delight children with America's favorite toy at Barbie� Doll's Holiday Tea at The Fairmont November 23, 2001 through January 1, 2002. A live Barbie� model will host the festivities and give each child a See's I Left My Heart in San Francisco(TM) Barbie� Doll. (Boys can select a See's Candy Truck instead of the doll.)

See's Candies is donating a portion of the proceeds from every doll sold to The Twin Towers Fund. The special edition collectable toy is available exclusively through The Fairmont San Francisco, See's Candies Stores and the San Francisco Convention & Visitors Bureau (SFCVB).

In addition to receiving the special edition collectable toy, children will enjoy holiday pastries, tea sandwiches, cookies, peppermint ice cream, a jumbo candy cane and See's candy. The children's tea offers a choice of spiced cider, hot cocoa or herbal tea.

The live Barbie� model will autograph a photograph of Barbie� Doll for each child. Additionally, Barbie� Doll's Holiday Playhouse, cast in gingerbread by the hotel's executive chef, will be on view throughout the holiday season in The Laurel Court.

Barbie� Doll's Holiday Tea at The Fairmont will be offered for $50 plus tax and gratuity per child daily at 2:30 and 4:30 p.m. in The Laurel Court. Adults can enjoy a sophisticated afternoon tea with Krug Champagne and caviar for $50 plus tax and gratuity. A traditional afternoon tea is available for $30 plus tax and gratuity per adult and child.

Crowned by three ornate domes, The Laurel Court served as the hotel's main dining room from 1907 to 1937 and reopened in 2000 as part of the hotel's recent $85 million restoration.
