Radioactive Clown To Do Video Game Figures

Dallas, Texas - February 5, 2002 - Radioactive Clown, a new company hell-bent on injecting fun and silliness into the surprisingly serious business of toys, today unveiled its product lineup just days prior to one of the industry's largest trade shows, Toy Fair 2002. Founded by a reclusive circus entertainer and a couple of high-profile game industry executives, Radioactive Clown has partnered with several game developers and publishers to produce collectible quality action figures based on popular videogame characters.

Radioactive Clown's first line of action figures will be Rune, based on the hit PC and Sony Playstation2 game by Human Head Studios (www.runegame.com). The initial three-figure series of Viking warriors will include Ragnar, Conrack, and the Wren Valkyrie. In addition to capturing the look and feel of Rune characters in true 3D, each figure will include items available in the game such as swords, axes, hammers, shields and even severed heads.

"We're pleased as hell that we hooked up with the crew at Radioactive Clown. The work they're doing is definitely top quality. We've wanted figures ever since we came up with Rune, but we wanted to make sure that what we came out with was the best in the market," said Tim Gerritsen, president of Human Head Studios. "The R.C. crew has made us very happy in their efforts, and we can't wait for them to get those figures out on the shelves."

The first series of Rune collectibles will be available June 2002.

David Eddings, one of the co-founders of Radioactive Clown, felt something was missing from most toys based on video games. Formerly with GodGames (www.godgames.com), the irreverent publisher of hit games such as Max Payne, Stronghold, 4x4 EVO, Heavy Metal: FAKK2, Nocturne, Serious Sam, and the aforementioned Rune, Eddings understands the difficulty developers face when trying to find a manufacturer to produce detailed figures based on their original vision.

"We are committed to working closely with developers to capture the very essence of the game character," said Eddings. "Before leaving the game industry, I was at my wits end to find somebody who could understand how psycho we are about toys. Fortunately for us, we met R.C., our demented Chairman of the Board."

Eddings adds, "Take away his disturbing sense of humor and penchant for wearing bright makeup, and you'll find R.C. to be obsessed with every little detail concerning our action figures. That's why the company was named after him. It just seemed fitting."

In addition to a handful of soon to be announced toy lines, Radioactive Clown's upcoming series of action figures includes Firefly's Stronghold (stronghold.godgames.com) and Terminal Reality's acclaimed horror title Nocturne (www.nocturnegame.com). "There are so many titles to announce, I can only give you enough to whet your appetite," said R.C. "As for the wait, deal with it. Just know you'll be impressed."

Committed to working with only the best sculptors in the industry, Radioactive Clown is proud to be associated with distinguished sculptor, Tony McVey, whose movie credits include Superman, The Dark Crystal, Return of the Jedi, Gremlins, Enemy Mine, Star Trek 3 and Star Wars: The Phantom Menace.

Radioactive Clown is comprised of veterans from the electronic entertainment and toy industries, and one nigh renowned carnival artiste. Radioactive Clown, LLC, is headquartered in Dallas, Texas. For additional information, please visit the company website at www.radioactiveclown.com.
