Spy Kids 2 Licensees Announced

NEW YORK, Feb. 5 -- Dimension Films has announced a broad list of licensing partners for its upcoming sequel SPY Kids 2: The Island of Lost Dreams. The licensing program includes a wide variety of products that range from apparel and accessories to household products and toys. All domestic goods will hit the market in time for Back-to-School retail and the theatrical release of the film on August 7, 2002.
The licensees on board for the film include:
- Play Along Toys for action figures, playsets, vehicles, and spy gadgets
- Manley Toy Quest for role play sets
- Hasbro's Cap Toys division for novelty candy
- Mattel, Inc. for collectible card games
- Serious USA for Interactive trading cards
- Wand World for lighted pens, lighted keychains, glow sticks, necklaces and wands
- JEM Sportswear, Inc. for children's and fashion t-shirts
- Buster Brown & Co. for a variety of footwear
- Handcraft Manufacturing for children's socks
- Wormser for children's sleepwear
- Funworld for Halloween Costumes
- Betesh Group for bags, tote bags, and backpacks
- JAKKS Pacific Flying Colors Division for back-to-school products
- Mead for wall calendars
- Smilemakers for stickers
- Thermos for lunch kits and lunch boxes
- Gibson USA for dinnerware, cookie jars and mugs
- Good Food Company for boxed cookies
- True Confections for chocolate bars
- Best Personalized Books for personalized books
- Talk Miramax Books for the novelizations, the Official movie storybook, and activity books
