April 1, 2002 - It is with a heavy heart that we report we will be closing the site at the end of the month. The truth is there are far too many sites out there better than us. We appreciate those who have passed along the news about other sites doing a better job and sometimes you just have to face the music.
Some may call it hype, but we've taken it to heart. I'm sure you'll never miss the site since we had such poor coverage and we appreciate your patronage, both of you. We know this comes as a pleasant surprise to some, and all we can say is so long and thanks for all the fish!
It's always been important to listen to the fans, so we've heard the cries and we'll exit - stage right. It has been a trying 6 months for us, and with it over we can look back and see just where we went wrong. We just weren't good enough, and it takes plenty of strength to admit that to yourself and your audience. In the end it just makes us stronger people, as our therapist likes to say.
So go out and check out the good sites and know that we'll never soil your browser again. Unless you come back, since it's April Fool's Day today! Wake up, it's just a bad season of 'Dallas'!
