This project was overseen by the biggest BOTP fan of them all (and he just happens to be a really, really, really good artist) � Alex (Battle of the Planets) Ross! Joining Alex in presenting their own vision of the G-Force team are such masters of their craft as Pat (Transformers) Lee, J. Scott Campbell, the Hildebrandt Brothers, Bill Sienkiewicz, Jae Lee, Jose Villarrubia, Angel Medina, Brian Rood, Alex Horley, Dan Parsons, Mike Allred, John (Captain America) Cassaday, Battle of the Planets Comic artist Wilson Tortosa, Kevin McCarthy, Marc Silvestri, Dan Jurgens, Dan Fraga, Greg Horn, Yanick Paquette, Mike Turner, and many more artistic luminaries and classic images from the original cartoon itself!
Ross himself has created an amazing new set of BOTP images, including a special nine card subset which, when united, forms one awesome, fully-painted image of the team descending in action against Zoltar and SPECTRA!
Other special additions to this trading card release, include Autograph Cards, Sketch Cards, 6 Animation Cel Cards and rare glimpses at the machinery, design and characters that made Battle of the Planets an international sensation that make up this awesome 72 card base set! Each box comes with 40 packs per box (that's 4 more per box than the standard trading card release) and 7 cards per pack! Each box will come with a mininum of 2 signed cards per box and one sketch card per box!
