Harlem Globetrotters Bobble Heads

(April 15, 2002) - A limited number of Harlem Globetrotters Bobble Head dolls replicating six of the world-famous players are now available exclusively through the organization's web site at www.harlemglobetrotters.com. Each bobble head doll is numbered, 1 to 1,000.
"We wanted to provide Globetrotter fans with a top-notch quality collectable to honor some of the greatest players from past and present Harlem Globetrotters team," said Chairman & Owner Mannie Jackson.
"These bobble head dolls are expected be a valuable asset to any collection and a treasured item for Harlem Globetrotters fans all over the world."
Ceramic bobble head dolls of Legends "Sweet" Lou Dunbar, "Curly" Neal, Hubert "Geese" Ausbie, Curly "Boo" Johnson, Marques Haynes and Reece "Goose" Tatum are for sale at $25 each.
The whole set can be purchased for $150. Each bobble head includes a collectable photo card with highlights and stats from his Globetrotters career.
Once these bobble heads are sold out, no more will be produced of these players, making them truly unique and a once in a lifetime offer.
The team also has a small quantity of vintage plates depicting the original Globetrotters team and its founder Abe Saperstein.
These numbered collectibles, available in three different versions, were created by Barry Travis and crafted by Josten's.
