MONTREAL, April 25 -- Grand Toys International, Inc. announced today that its Canadian subsidiary, Grand Toys Ltd., expects continued strong sales from Spider-Man Movie Action Figures and Accessories for the balance of 2002.
Sales for the first quarter have already been tracking well ahead of plan at all of the National Retailers across the country. With the greatly anticipated Sony Spider-Man Movie release scheduled for May 3, 2002, retailers are forecasting a complete sellout.
The Action Figure line is comprised of characters and play sets inspired from the Spider-Man Movie. The Action Figure line includes 6" and 12" replicas of the characters from the movie. Retail price points range from $8.99 to $49.99.
