June 5, 2002 - Sideshow/WETA has unveiled these new images of their upcoming Ringwraith & Steed Statue in their Lord of the Rings: the Fellowship of the Ring series.

Long ago ensnared and corrupted by the Dark Lord Sauron, the nine Ringwraiths were to pursue Frodo and his companions from the Shire. Terrifying specters, mounted atop black steeds, they were all but invisible except for the black cloaks they wore to hide their true nature.

This statue has been hand cast in heavy weight polystone and hand painted to the highest standards. The display base has been etched with the map of Middle Earth and also includes the Lord of the Rings logo, the character's name and sculptor's signature. This statue is an authentic replication of the costuming and make-up from the film.


This statue is limited to just 5,000 pieces and will ship in the Fall of 2002.
