June 11, 2002 - Beginning July 31, DC Comics will be ready to meet and greet fans, retailers and comics professionals at Comic-Con International: San Diego 2002. DC will be on hand with a full complement of staff and guests at DC's legendary "big booth."
DC's sponsored guests include Eisner-Award winning writer Brian Azzarello (100 BULLETS, BATMAN/DEATHBLOW), writer Ed Brubaker (BATMAN, POINT BLANK), DC DIRECT sculptor Tim Bruckner, Eisner-Award nominated writer Mike Carey (LUCIFER, HELLBLAZER), penciller Yvel Guichet (JLA), writer Joe Kelly (JLA, ACTION COMICS), penciller Doug Mahnke (JLA), penciller Scott McDaniel (BATMAN, NIGHTWING), penciller Carlos Pacheco (JLA/JSA: VIRTUE AND VICE), Eisner-Award winning artist Eduardo Risso (100 BULLETS), and writer Bill Willingham (FABLES).
Other DC departments also will be represented at the convention, including members of Creative Services, Editorial Administration, and the Collected Editions and DC Direct groups, along with most of the Direct Sales department.
