MechWarrior: Dark Age Delayed Slightly
|
SEATTLE, WA July 11, 2002 MechWarrior: Dark Age is now scheduled for an August 21st street date. "Unfortunately, the shift in the release date was necessary because our orders have far outstripped our original estimates," said Martin Stever, WizKids Executive Vice President. "The amount of product our factories have been able to produce thus far, while significant, still will not meet a reasonable percentage of our orders. We are pushing back the release of MechWarrior so that distributors, retailers, and consumers get a reasonable supply of product on day one. We would rather delay release than severely allocate product and cause difficulties throughout the distribution chain. We do apologize for any inconvenience this delay causes."
The DC HeroClix: Hypertime collectable miniatures game is still set for release September 18.
