The Comic Con will run from August 1-4, 2002, with a special Preview Night on July 31, 2002 for pre-registered professionals and pre-registered four day attendees.

Sideshow Toy will showcase their core product lines including James Bond, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Universal Classic Monsters, Outer Limits, Twilight Zone, Muppets, and much more, and will have a special Sideshow / Weta, 'Lord of the Rings' product presentation that you will not want to miss.

Lawrence Makoare (Lurtz, in The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring film) and Sala Baker (Sauron) are confirmed as guests the special The Lord of the Rings Pavilion, which will feature companies such as New Line Home Entertainment, Electronic Arts, Decipher, Games Workshop, Houghton Mifflin, the official Lord of the Rings Fan Club, TheOneRing.net and Sideshow / Weta Collectibles. Also in the pavilion will be a special crew from Weta Workshop in New Zealand, including Richard Taylor, 2-time Academy Award winner.

This year Sideshow will be showcasing exciting new Limited Editions, offering awesome photo opportunities with life-size characters from The Lord of the Rings film(s), and giving away great prizes! The Sideshow 'Product Development will be on hand throughout the show to answer questions and meet fans.
