BLOOMINGTON, Minn., Aug. 7 -- Minnesotans will have no trouble spying the Spy Kids when Tony's Frozen Pizza hosts a public appearance on Saturday, August 10 with the two main stars from the new movie Spy Kids(TM) 2: The Island of Lost Dreams.
Carmen Cortez, played by Alexa Vega, and her on-screen brother Juni, played by Daryl Sabara, will be at Mall of America from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. on August 10. There will be prize drawings, free trading cards and temporary tattoos, entertainment from a KDWB deejay, and the chance to take pictures of the Spy Kids. The first 250 people to get a wrist band will also receive the Spy Kids' autographs. The event, which is open to the public, will be held at Sam Goody Central on level 1, east entrance.
Tony's Frozen Pizza will also provide free pizza slices and giveaways outside the mall from 8 a.m. until 9 p.m. The Tony's truck will be parked on the north side of the mall between Sears and Nordstrom. In addition to pizza, Tony's will give away CD-ROMs with computer screen savers.
