August 2002 � We are extremely disappointed to announce Moore Action Collectibles, Inc. will not be producing the anticipated line of X-Files action figures announced last year. Influenced by the television series cancellation, Moore Action does not believe the X-Files market remains strong enough to support the action figure line.
"Halting development of the X-Files action figures was a difficult decision for us," quotes Moore's Director of Marketing, Wynne Hunkler. "However, we feel confident this move will allow us the opportunity to pursue other projects beneficial to our collectors," such as action figure lines from the popular Fox Entertainment series, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel.
