Upcoming Marvel Select Figures

 August 30, 2002 - The Buzz has been curious lately about which characters will be made as the next few Marvel Select action figures, and so RTM talked to our contact at Diamond Select Toys for the information.
The next two figures will be: - Black Widow
- Origin Wolverine
Pictures are not currently available, but should be forthcoming in the near future.
Both figures will be done in the same 7-inch scale as the rest of the Marvel Select line, manufactured for Toy Biz exclusively for Diamond Select Toys.
The Black Widow figure will not be Natasha Romanov, the original Black Widow. It will be her successor, Yelena Belova, a Russian operative who has claimed the mantle of the Black Widow. Yelena believed that the mantle was hers due to her loyalty to Mother Russia. She has also taken on the appearance of the original Widow, with the exception of her hair color: Yelena is a blonde rather than a red-head.
She will be followed by Origin Wolverine. More information about this version of Wolvie will be available in the future.
