WWII British Paratrooper
The British Airborne Forces were born in June of 1940 when Winston Churchill called for the formation of a corps of at least five thousand parachute troops, suitably organized and equipped. From there the British Airborne grew from battalion to regimental strength and operated throughout the European Theatre. Actions include France on D-Day, the British 6th Airborne Division on the Orne River and the 1st Airborne Division at Arnhem in the largest airborne drop in history, and Operation Market Garden, where they suffered extremely heavy losses.

WWII Panzer Grenadier
The success of the German Panzer Divisions in WWII were not achieved by tanks alone. Rather it was the ability to combine the elements of Infantry, Armor and Artillery. The Grenadiers were an integral part of military strategy as they provided close support for the tanks. There were two distinct types of Panzer Grenadier Battalions, the Mechanized Unit which fought from armored half tracks and the Motorized unit which was carried in lorries and field cars.
