X-Toys Announces Dragon Plans and Extreme Sports Line

xtoys_dragon_logo.gif - 8029 BytesAwhile back RTM reported that X-Toys had entered into an agreement to be the exclusive distributor of Dragon Models 12" action figures in the U.S.

X-Toys has announced that they will be showing 10 different prototypes at Toy Fair that they will be releasing from April through July.

X-Toys plans on releasing 2 to 3 figures per month in various catagories, with the main emphasis being on military and law enforcement figures.

Retail will range from $20 to $40 and each figure will feature all the quality and detail that Dragon has come to be known for.

Bob LoMonaco, X-Toys President, also announced today that the company has signed exclusive agreements to produce action figures of all sizes based on 16 top personalities in Extreme Sports.

"We'll be starting with 6" exact copies of the athletes and their equipment. We have also reached an agreement with Dragon to produce a limited edition 12" series with all the unbelievable realism and detail that only Dragon can produce.

Our initial assortments will be available this summer and will cover Skateboarding, Snowboarding, Extreme Skiing, Street Luge and Downhill Skateboarding. Further expansion will be announced later in the year."
