Disney Names New VP of Toys

BURBANK, Calif., Nov. 19 -- Jessica Dunne has joined Disney Consumer Products as senior vice president, Toys, it was announced today by Andy Mooney, president of Disney Consumer Products Worldwide.

In her new role, Dunne leads Disney's global toy team of more than 80 employees in five regions, overseeing product innovation, product development, key licensee and key retailer relationships.

"Jessica is an industry leader with a great track record in children's media and toys," said Mooney. "She will be a valuable addition to Disney Consumer Products' senior management team."

Dunne comes to Disney Consumer Products from Cartoon Network where she held the position of senior vice president, network marketing and off-channel commerce. Prior to that, her professional experience includes serving as vice president of worldwide marketing for various categories of the Star Wars brand at Hasbro Toys. Additionally, she was director of marketing for male action brands at Galoob Toys, Inc.

Dunne has a master of science in business administration from Farleigh Dickinson University in Madison, New Jersey, and a bachelor's degree with a concentration in information systems from Saint Joseph's University in Philadelphia, Penn.

Dunne relocated to the Los Angeles area from Atlanta, Ga.
