Comic Images Come to Canada

MONTREAL, Jan. 15 -- Grand Toys International, Inc. announced today that its Canadian subsidiary, Grand Toys Ltd., has signed a distribution agreement with Comic Images for Canada.

Comic Images, of Saddlebrook, New Jersey, is a diversified manufacturer of trading cards, collectible card games and novelty toys. Comic Images holds such licenses as World Wrestling Entertainment, Marvel Super Heroes, Terminator 3, Cat in the Hat and others. The novelty toy range includes a comprehensive line of Bobblehead Key Chains featuring some of the hottest character licenses such as Spider-man, X-Men, The Hulk and Dragon Ball Z.

Jason Mars, Director of Merchandising for Grand commented, "We are very pleased to have the distribution rights to the Comic Images product line. We believe that the Comic Images line will complement our current offering of licensed characters on action figures. The Spider-man license was a huge success in 2002 as a result of the movie release. With the much anticipated movie release of The Hulk scheduled for June 2003, consumers will continue to be exposed to the Marvel Super Heroes."

Founded in 1960, Grand Toys International, Inc. is a premier licensee and distributor of a wide variety of toys and ancillary items in Canada and since January 1999, a supplier of proprietary products in the United States.
