DAYTON, Ohio, Jan. 29 -- Huffy Bicycle Company, a division of Huffy Corporation, will be launching the next generation of tri-wheel innovation with the unveiling of its new Green Machine(TM) -- developed to capture the imagination of kids searching for the ultimate spin, slide and skid experience -- at the 100th Annual Toy Fair Exhibition, Jacob Javits Center (NYC), on February 16 - 19, 2003. The Green Machine(TM) was recently selected as one of the thirty semi-finalists, vying for the 6th Annual Sports Product of the Year Award for product innovation, at the recent SGMA Super Show held last week in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Reminiscent of the classic but designed for ultimate performance, the new Green Machine(TM) features dual joysticks with handbrake, a rear-wheel steering mechanism for ultimate handling, extra-wide blow molded rear wheels, a large rubber front tire for superior traction, and a strong steel frame construction for maximum stability.
Bill Smith, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Huffy Bicycle Company, stated, "After our successes with Micro(R) scooters, Monkey Bikes(TM), pogo sticks and stilts, we knew kids would be incredibly excited about the extreme possibilities and advanced design of the Green Machine(TM). We are excited to be launching the Green Machine(TM) at the Toy Fair and introducing children and parents to our newest product through a national television campaign slated to begin airing April 28, 2003 and continuing to air through June 1, 2003."

Graber, Chairman, President and CEO of Huffy Corporation, commented, "As Huffy Corporation management developed tactical plans to support our strategic vision of creating a diversified, branded sporting goods company and retail services company with total revenues of $750 million to $1.0 billion, internal growth fueled by new products and services emerged as a corporate-wide priority. Products such as the Green Machine(TM) are an example of the creativity of our product development team and its commitment to bringing innovative products, offering great value and quality, to the marketplace and of our commitment to support and grow our brands through direct-to-consumer advertising."
