Avengers & Adversaries: Ultron Statue
|
March 2003 - A Diamond Select Release - Originally designed and built by Doctor Henry Pym (aka Ant-Man/ Giantman/ Yellowjacket), Ultron eventually evolved from a tank-like construct to the nigh-indestructible killer automaton we all know and loathe! Now, Diamond Select adds another "adversary" to their "Avengers & Adversaries" line of medium statues with the Adamantium-clad robot zealot, Ultron.
Sculpted by Oliver Brigg, Ultron is captured in a classic rage pose - you can almost hear him curse the Avengers. Ultron is designed to stand against The Vision (Ultron's wayward "son") and stands seven inches tall with a base sculpted to appear as strewn rubble.
Fully painted and ready to display, Ultron is limited to 3,000 pieces worldwide, accompanied by a full-color, hand-numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
In stores in June 2003, with a suggested retail price of $75 USD.
