Toy Biz Update: LOTR & Marvel Legends

 April 2, 2003 - Toy Biz has updated the press on their Marvel Legends and Lord of the Rings action figures with the following information:
Marvel Legends IV: - Should be in stores in July 2003.
- The variant will be Goliath with Antman and Wasp. Exact numbers are unknown.
Marvel Legends Gift Packs:- Both box sets should be available in November 2003.
- Both sets will have display stands for each action figure.
- Both sets will have a 24-page poster book showing the characters "in their classic looks."
- The Urban Legends set will include Spider-Man, Elektra, Daredevil, and Punisher, and retail for about $29.99 USD.
- The X-Men Legends set will include Beast, Gambit, Wolverine, Magneto, and Rogue, and will retail for about $34.99.
Lord of the Rings:- All five assortments of action figures in the Two Towers product line have shipped and should now be available in stores.
- Assortment One of the Return of the King figures has changed slightly. The current lineup is: Frodo, Samwise Gamgee, Aragorn, Eomer, and Uruk-Hai.
- More information about the Return of the King toys will be available later in 2003 as the release date for the film approaches.
