Tiger Electronics, Ltd., a division of Hasbro, Inc., today announced the appointment of Brian Goldner, Chief Operating Officer of Bandai America Inc., to the position of Chief Operating Officer, Senior Executive Vice President of Tiger, effective March 18. Mr. Goldner, 36, who will report to Tiger President Roger Shiffman, will assume the title of President and COO on January 1, 2001, as part of a succession plan. Randy Rissman, Tiger's Chief Executive Officer, will step down by the end of 2000, at which time Mr. Shiffman will assume the role of CEO.

``Brian's contributions have been a tremendous influence to our industry and his track record is excellent,'' said Herb Baum, President and Chief Operating Officer of Hasbro. ``His expertise in building content through entertainment-based categories make him an ideal match for Hasbro's current and future direction.''

``With Brian Goldner coming aboard, we are in an excellent position to take Tiger's electronics, games, interactive and web-enabled expertise to the next level,'' added Mr. Shiffman.

Mr. Goldner joined Bandai in 1997, where he led Bandai's North American Toy Division. He has been an innovator in marketing new toy lines that incorporate interactive and unique play patterns for children, and under his leadership, the Power Rangers brand experienced double-digit growth. In addition, Mr. Goldner pioneered a business model with multiple revenue streams for Bandai that branched into the arenas of both content development and production.

Mr. Goldner has built significant partnerships for Bandai with Saban and Fox Kids Worldwide, and has demonstrated his industry leadership by rapidly developing and launching Digimon. He brings his vast experience to Tiger, a company that looks to develop the next generation of cutting-edge, web-enabled play as it builds products for tomorrow's kids.

Tiger Electronics, Ltd., a division of Hasbro's games segment, is the worldwide leader in innovative electronics. Tiger's brands, products and licensed properties include: one of the top selling products of the last two years - Furby, as well as Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, Talkboy, Hitclips Music System, Yahoo! Cam, E-Fortunes, Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy!, Star Wars, NASCAR, WCW/NWO, Winnie the Pooh, Franklin the Turtle, and many more.

Hasbro is a worldwide leader in children's and family leisure time entertainment products and services, including the design, manufacture and marketing of games and toys ranging from traditional to high-tech. Both internationally and in the U.S., its Playskool, Kenner, Tonka, OddzOn, Super Soaker, Milton Bradley, Parker Brothers, Tiger, Hasbro Interactive, Microprose, Galoob and Wizards of the Coast brands and products provide the highest quality and most recognizable play experiences in the world.
