Summer Movies 2003 on AOL

NEW YORK -- May 2, 2003 -- With more than 130 movies hitting theaters between May and August, AOL Movies and Entertainment Weekly created "Summer Movies 2003," the ultimate resource offering movie fans everything they need to get the pulse on this summer's blockbusters. "Summer Movies 2003" is now available at AOL Keyword: Summer Movies for both AOL and AOL(R) for Broadband subscribers.

"Summer Movies 2003" offers AOL members "First Looks," exclusive scenes of highly anticipated films. This week, fans can watch exclusive footage from Finding Nemo, the new animated feature from Disney/Pixar, the makers of Toy Story and A Bug's Life. Also launching this week is a "First Look" at Sony Pictures' Daddy Day Care with Eddie Murphy and the exclusive trailer premiere of Disney's Freaky Friday starring Jamie Lee Curtis. Other upcoming "First Looks" will feature Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, New Line Cinema's Dumb and Dumberer: When Harry Met Lloyd and How to Deal starring Mandy Moore.

"'Summer Movies 2003' combines the best of AOL Movies with the best of Entertainment Weekly," said Steven Yee, Vice President and General Manager, AOL Movies. "With so many films to choose from this summer, this feature was created to help moviegoers go beyond the hype and make the most informed choices about which films they see. We're very excited to team up with Entertainment Weekly and bring this comprehensive resource to our millions of movie-loving members."

The new feature will offer new content each week including reviews from Entertainment Weekly critics, broadband-enhanced video such as trailers and movie star interviews, local showtimes and tickets and more. Fans can also share their opinions via AOL's community features including member ratings, message boards, polls and chats.

"Summer Movies 2003" is just one part of AOL Entertainment's new summer promotional campaign, "Look, Listen & Play," which highlights AOL for Broadband and features exclusive previews of the summer's biggest movies, music, TV shows and video games.
