Woodland Hills, CA, May 20, 2003 - Funrise Toy Corporation launches a power-packed line-up of vehicles, games and activities in conjunction with the highly-anticipated summer release, The Hulk, acclaimed filmmaker Ang Lee's (Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon) bigscreen version of one of Marvel Comics' most memorable and popular superhero series.

The Hulk comes alive in the Hulk Electronic Pinball Machine, the newest title from Funrise's award-winning home arcade collection. Featuring non-stop pinball action with electronic bumpers, spinners, ramps, and real arcade lights and sound, this free-standing pinball machine has the muscle to turn the huge green monster into an explosion of home arcade excitement. (SRP: $99.99, ages 5 and up) Also available in tabletop pinball (SRP: $39.99), both with multiple skill levels and one or two player action.

The Hulk action continues with an army of Funrise Lights-and-Sound Vehicles, including tanks, Humvees, choppers and armored personnel carriers. The Military 4x4 Gunner, loaded with a working missile launcher, trails along behind Army rafts, motorcycles and more, making Funrise's military fleet ready for Hulk-battling action. (SRP: $4.99 - $19.99, ages 5 and up)

The Hulk leaps from the page to the putty with new Hulk Silly Putty, featuring over an ounce of Silly Putty, a comic book loaded with superhero images and two embossed molding stamps. Kids transfer the action from the special-edition Hulk comic book onto Silly Putty by pressing the Putty onto the page, as "The Real Solid Liquid" comes to life with images that can be stretched, flattened or rolled. The Hulk's menacing face adorns the mean, green plastic egg that houses the Putty, and the molding stamps, featuring "SMASH!" and "BASH!" captions, can be imprinted on Silly Putty for additional decorative fun. (SRP: $4.99, ages 3 and up)

"All signs point to The Hulk being the must-see action flick of 2003, and Funrise is on board with a terrific range of toys, perfect for both movie and comic book fans," said Dave Schwartz, Vice President of Marketing for Funrise Toy Corp.

Funrise's commitment to The Hulk represents its latest comic superhero product line, following on the heels of their highly acclaimed line of Spider-Man pinball and vehicles, which debuted last year.

Acclaimed filmmaker Ang Lee's concept for his film adaptation of the classic Marvel Comics series from Universal Pictures, The Hulk, combines all the elements of a blockbuster visual effects-intensive superhero movie with the brooding romance and tragedy of Universal's classic horror films. In depicting The Hulk as both a superhero and a monster, a wish fulfillment and a nightmare, Lee and his team have stayed true to the early subversive spirit of the character created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, while completely updating The Hulk and projecting it into the dangers and aspirations of contemporary times.

Universal Pictures' The Hulk, produced in association with Marvel Entertainment Group, stars Eric Bana (Chopper, Black Hawk Down) as scientist Bruce Banner, whose inner demons transform him in the aftermath of a catastrophic experiment. Academy Award® winner Jennifer Connelly (A Beautiful Mind) portrays Betty Ross, whose scientific genius unwittingly helps unleash The Hulk, Nick Nolte (The Thin Red Line) plays Banner's brilliant father, who passes on a tragic legacy to his son, and Sam Elliott (The Contender) portrays the commander of a top-secret military research center. The Valhalla Motion Pictures/Good Machine Production will hit theatres June 20, 2003.

Funrise is based in Woodland Hills, CA with showrooms in New York and Hong Kong. The company's success is an outgrowth of its adherence to quality manufacturing, efficient distribution and a values-based corporate culture.

The Hulk is licensed by Universal Studios Consumer Products Group (USCPG), which is responsible for global licensing and retail strategies as well as building brand recognition. USCPG is a unit of Universal Pictures, a division of Vivendi UNIVERSAL Entertainment (VUE) (www.universalstudios.com), the U.S.-based film, television and recreation entity of Vivendi Universal, a global media and communications company.
